End of Aug were going away for the week to Yarmouth, its our daughters birthday when were away and wanting to take her somewhere special on her birthday.

We have 2 children aged 8 and 4(will be on her birthday) and wondered if theres anywhere nice roughly within about an hour drive from yarmouth that we can go for the day. Money isnt really a problem just dont know of anywhere we can go.

Pleasurewood hills is a pretty good theme park and very close by.

As always theme parks are quite expensive so when you arrive you could try local papers for vouchers, sometimes asda have leaflets in the doorways. tourist information place may have some too.
Thank You :)
SeaLife Centre is in Yarmouth, so are numerous arcades, there is also a reptile place on the seafront
dinsaur theme park - trust me its much better than it sounds. weather needs to be reasonable though

beaches are lovely in that area

yarmouth has a good town centre for shopping and food and the beach, pier and fair are a stroll away. beach is lovely, with candy floss and donkeys

this place is on my list, when we next go, it was out of season last time we went
Pleasure Beach, Joyland (for the little one), Hollywood cinema.
We were there at the weekend and had plans to got to Pleasurewood hills, when we arrived there was a wheelbarrow in the road with a hand written sign saying 'closed...sorry' so if that is ur plan u might wanna check it's open:thumbsup:
So we then drove to Beccles and Hired a boat on the broads for a couple of hours which the kids absolutely loved. Was a great price too I thought....£16 an hour!
There's loads to do in Yarmouth, I love it:-D
If I was you I'd go to Blakeney Quay or Morston Quay (North Norfolk) and go on a boat trip to see the seals, absolutely wonderful and unforgettable. Beans Boats and Bishops Boats both do them, £8 adults £4 children worth every penny.
as hannah19790 says, hire a boat on the norfolk broards the kids will love driving/sailing it, get one with a fold up roof incase it rains
