Well we have all come across these kind of people on HotUKDeals.com
People who have the decency to post a good deal in the hopes of helping others which is a good thing, and then attracting people that buy thousands to make money for themselves KNOWING that their doing so will jepodise the deal for many other sincere members.

I come across a bad case of this today over on MSE Forums
I was going to try the deal out today but Quidco have now pulled it because of one member (Bootybabe18) buying 24 freaking tickets!, everybody else was not being greedy and doing it only once or twice
It's worth a good read, Bootybabe buts in at Post #78 and as predicted, gets slated lol
She even had the nerve to say:

"I know this may sound kinda very nasty and mean,
but maybe this thread should now be deleted so that it doesn't spoil and ruin it for all the people who have already done it.
As if too many people not only will they not be able to get the money,"

Wow what greed, and now we can't use the deal

Yeah, 2 or 3 tickets is not bad, it will get you a few handy quid. But buying 24 is ridiculous. And it ruins what HotUKDeals and MSE Forums are about

i see she is a dole merchant .. what about her getting a JOB

"Im unemployed, have only £10 left of my JSA per month after having to add the other £190 to my LHA just to pay my basic rent,
have the council demanding £86 per month council tax payments for money owing from last year due to no bill for 6months and then a huge bill,
have thousands and thousands outstanding on 3 creditcards that i haven't made a single repayment on for nearly 2years but have had the interest on them keep rising probably,
and owe the stupid electric company money (even though i never signed for them and only get 1 giant bill every 6months!). "

The ''spirit of cashback''??

So for me there is no ''spirit'' in this,
i just need to get that money to live!

love it!

and then

What can i say...??

Sorry, but i simply just cant afford to have morals anymore.

wow she sounds so nice!

they can clearly afford a laptop/pc and the internet and run up thousands of pounds in more than one credit card! reality check well needed!

From Quidco

Hi all,

We are aware of this loophole and the program has now been suspended. We take any abuse of our merchant's or offers very seriously as it not only undermines the cashback process but also damages the relationships between us, the merchants and the networks.

We will be looking into all accounts that are found to have abused this program and appropriate action will be taken.

Regards,

Quidco

I laughed out load at that...and the business of "rah rah I look after myself now" hehehe still chuckling.

She can clearly afford a computer and broadband connection, I picture her as one of those people you see on wifeswap who claim to have no money yet claims rock n' roll but has a huge plasma on the wall in the lounge a leather three-piece, SKY and all the kids have TVs in there room with their own Games consoles.. I love it

Yeah i couldn't believe that one too. She's scamming them! :w00t: and Quidco was offering free money, she has got some cheek
[mod]#23
What a stupid, stinking bint.
#24
OMG. Shame on her. Shame. I suppose it's a bit much to hope she'll be paying income tax on her 'profit'? I hope she doesn't get anything, and loses the £10 she paid with. I'm just stunned. Feel for people genuinely travelling.
#25
Not precisely my choice of description MJ... but
especially where she goes and eats her parents' food.

Quidco:
You will only recieve the £5 cashback offer if your ticket is £7 or more.
#26
And of course there aren't any on here who do this sort of thing then :? :whistling:

Yeah right, if YOU could make a good few quid you would try it  .

So ALL those who take advantage of mis-prices and (Boots / Thorntons) 3 for price of 1 or voucher loopholes on HERE are just as bad 'technically' (and yep that includes me too  )

'We' wouldn't ask for the thread to be closed so no-one else could do exactly what we were doing though! I certainly would take advantage if I was buying them anyway, but wouldn't go out of my way to purchase so many tickets (with money she clearly hasn't got), for something I didn't want as a way of making money for nothing... maybe that's just me.

Doesn't exist.

People can buy what they want and as many as they want. It doesn't make them scum.

theres making money thats fine but abusing it to the point where it ruins it for others yeh thats class!
#33
dcx_badass
Stop whining. So what if someones making money, you think shops sell for the same price they buy for?

Abuse of cashback can mean (and has done in the past) that the cashback can be removed or reduced which affects everyone who could benefit from the cashback.

Gotta laugh at that woman on MSE:w00t:

Im going to refund those tickets back to virgin anyways though (gna just pretend im a primary school teacher who had booked them for a class outing which has now been cancelled), so hopefully even if this stupid company scams me i wont have lost any of my money.

the whole rent and electric, i was ok at that. But the thousands of pounds owed to CC companies, that REALLY got me. She's obviously blown those thousands on clothes, laptop whatever, don't use a CC if you can't afford to pay the bills.
