Very well made:

And this laser:

and this one:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1619
But the True 10mw is cheaper now so I'd get that instead: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.938

But obviously the 30 is even better.

Genuine gerber?

I doubt it, but for £5 it is a very good copy and is nice and sharp had mine for over a year now. The build quality is really good, worth buying just for the sake of it.

Was gonna say I had a gerber knife and multi tool whilst in the Army, they cost a small fortune. These get past customs ok?

Am I the only one afraid here that knifes are being advertised for £5 to any age on this site is there not enough stabbings today and people losing there lives due to knife crime this thread is scaring me big time

knives dont kill, people kill. if its not a knife, its a pole or a brick or a baseball bat or 5 of your mates with boots.

A good knife is essential for camping, fishing, general hobbying etc

Since when have people been unable to google knives or just go to ebay and look. I'm more scared about the shops selling them in all the crappy seaside downs that the people who do the stabbings get taken to on holiday.

I really must be daft if its that easy to buy a knife omg I am not that old but we went to the shop to buy sneaky cigs is it really that easy to walk into a shop and buy a knife that makes me so sad cause its just to common now .

If a kid wants a knife to go tooled up all he will get one anyway, its not hard, they will nick one from somewhere either from the kitchen or any of the big shops that sell kitchen knives, these are only a couple of inch or so blade length a kitchen knife will go straight through the guts/chest whatever.

Mine is always in my pocket wherever I go, its a handy little knife, that and the credit card steel multi tool.

My OH carries a knife all the time. He's American though and it's pretty commonplace there for men to have a knife on them just as it's a useful thing to carry, certainly not for fighting or anything x

Its not knives that bother me, knives I have a pretty good chance against (used to be a doorman, done plenty of training that paid off a few times when confronted with knives and bottles - Sheffield clubs are bad, or was in the late 90's!).

Its guns that bother me, I know if I wanted one I could have one within a few hours and a phone call or two, a knife you can deflect if handled right, you see the tell tale signs that something is going down and to use a knife its got to be up close and personal, a gun you cant do jack against as they dont need to be so close and you cant deflect a bullet, the day someone pulled a gun on me was the day (or should I say night) I realised my life was more important than the job.
Turned out to be a replica but I had no way of knowing and the next time it may not be.

Same with mine I see a knife as a tool not a weapon, I do make sure it falls within the legal size regarding the cutting edge length.

The little gangs around my estate openly walk round with kitchen knives showing & some fella walked past me in the park the other day holding an Axe!!
In fact not all that long ago someone was stabbed & killed a few meters from our house.
Like Harlzter said if a kid wants a tool they'll get one.
