DEALEXTREME.. Getting better??

Just recieved my 4th order from dealextreme, and can say i am very impressed.

Maybe they have taken on a new manager or just new staff or something. My first order a couple of months ago took just over 3 weeks, the package was wrecked and the items inside were only ok as they were in boxes, which were also wrecked i may add..

since then i took the plunge and ordered a few more things, my second order again took 3 weeks, but arrived in tip top condition, which is why i used them for the 3rd order, which only took 9 days, (monday to wednesday) but my last order I placed last monday night and recieved this morning! thats less than 6 days inc a weekend!

Anyone had anything recently from them?? was it ok, quick?

Yes, I got one of those mini usb mice in about a week. After my earlier run-in with them over the lost M3DS (which they eventually resolved) I was happy to receive good service again

I've just ordered once and I'm not really happy, fake item I reckon, although other peopls reviews on website said it was licensed. I could tell some items on there were def fake having looked before on there at some stuff, but not the item I bought,so am doubtful that now its's arrived that it is licensed.
Don't think I'll bother again.

Just some Maro keyrings, they for my son,he will like them regardless if licensed or not.
Cost about £1.50,they were posted up on here other wk.
On customer reviews ( if they genuine reviews... ) says licensed merchandise.

The Snoopy watches they had on there are def fake as does some of the Pooh and other Disney items I've seen.

So I probably keep away next time or would advise others not to spend a great amount on there expecting something to be genuine.

I don't like idea of fake stuff thats all.

I think given the prices it's obvious it's not genuine.

yeh for a lot of it,like they sell a Snoopy watch for next to nothing, while a Snoopy watch by Fossil is a lot more.

Don't know if it's just me, but anything ordered from them arrives from Hong Kong, even though the website gives the impression it's USA based and prices are in US$

Given that the items arrive from HK, I'll be staggered if there is much genuine stuff for sale on there. My lataest DSTT card arrived the other day and the sticker mon the front of the cartridge wasn't on properly and I could easily have swapped it for a R4 sticker.

As said before, given the prices I think you need to understand that you PROBABLY aren't getting the real mcoy.

I think their deliveries take so long sometimes when they haven't actually got the item in stock ! When they do have the stock they seem to take a week to 10 days, which isn't too bad concidering where it is ! :)

They do not give any impression of being a US site, quite the contrary, all their contact information makes you fully aware that they are Hong Kong based.

If they supplied a DSTT card with a R4 sticker, it wouldn't work would it?

I've ordered numerous things from this site and never had any problems, all items have been delivered within a month. Saying that i've stuck under the £18 customs limit as i didnt want to get hammered by them and then risk things getting delayed etc

Saying that i am very tempted to order some more expensive things...... does anyone know if they put the actual price on the green customs sticker or do they 'Tweak' them so they are cheaper? :whistling:
