I think they are struggling now with the staff handing out all these free pork pies!! lol

Haven't heard anything about it but they always seem to do well so I'd doubt its true

Shame for the staff but I'm not bothered.
Useless, overpriced naff stuff there anyhow.
I went once, saw torn, painted, jeans for £56, turned round and left.
Anyone who pays that for carp needs their nuts tightened.

well nothing of it mentioned on the bbc at all....have googled it to death and nothing on any of the news agency pages ? OMG i so hope it isnt true....I am deep mourning as I LOVE their kids clothes and shop there alot....surely my son's wardrobe shopping alone should be enough to keep Debenhams afloat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmmmm just heard that its not Debenhams that's going into receivership but their parent group baurer (sp???) hopefully that means good old debs will be ok
