Have an odd issue with three recent Debenhams refunds which I've never had before.
Following the usual 'refund in progress' email, I was checking my bank account and noticed that each refund value was incorrect, in fact they were all 11.1% less than what I paid for the items e.g. paid £8.10 ... received refund of £7.20. Debs customer services were baffled by this and could not understand why this happened (me too!!). They said they would investigate the matter and would refund any shortfall if they found out that this was the case. Refunds into account were on Aug 5th & 8th. Maybe this was just a one off which hopefully was restricted to myself.
Just thought I'd share this with you and if you've returned something recently and awaiting a refund .... check your bank account.
### Update: Debenhams have sorted the refund issue straight away and have refunded the shortfall to my account.
