How can they do that???
At least I knew what I was signing up for!!oO
It must be something to do with shutting down the Chemistry courses nationwide.
P.S - probably not at all like your course - due to genetic analysis of ecosystems, plodding around on mud flats etc etc .

You know I darn near did a PhD with my personal tutor in the dept where Alec Jeffreys worked on the genetic fingerprinting. Fame eluded me!!

Are you gearing up mentally for the return to the fray??

Here's an interesting fact for you! My boyfriend arrested him the other day... He had to have 3 officers outside his cell door because he was the most violent person they've seen in 10 years. Apparently he just flipped out!

Haha - see it would have been better if it had been me - I could have coped with the fame and the early professorship!!
I never met the guy BTW!!
Weight of conviction on his shoulders - could do badly for the sensitive types.

I havent got a clue! I remember a couple of years ago they asked us to do questionnaire about how the title of the course sounds and potential names, filled out that i was happy with chemical and process cos im not really keen on biology but they've changed it now even the previous year had a biology module and exam before the name change, i did a biology test in year one but that was bout it apart the fermentation lab report i was struggling with last year, i'm just looking forward to finishing will try my best obviously to finish with a decent grade but im considering just doing 3 years instead of masters then joining up as an officer in the navy (marine engineer) (_;)

p.s i dunno who alec jefferys is oO

2.2 in advanced nursing skills.2005 I was 52 at the time and still had 3 kids and a home to run. I was disappointed but oldest got a 2.2 in microbiology at Sheffield last year..(student with no major ties, young and carefree)....so all in all I reckon I did quite well

Google is your friend :D - he's the guy who 'invented' genetic fingerprinting! Wow they have really messed you about lilac - I know of Chemistry courses, like at Exeter, where they just shut down but it seems like they want you to pretend that nothing is happening. NUS!!!!

I think you are right = get the degree ( whatever it is called ) and then 'out' to actually do something. It's up to you to persuade your man!!

Don't forget that I am here to help if I can( atlhough the powers are fading with age).
