Delayed airplane

My flight was over 1 hour late so I missed my connection flight to Lyon.
It was the same airline, KLM
Do you get the next flight usually for free, if fully booked, would you get a hotel paid?

Arrival time should have been 11:55, but I landed 12:55 , my connection flight to Lyon departed 12:45.

What happens normally ? Could they blame me for not leaving enough time in-between the flights? I travelled without luggage.

I had to pay extra charges - I just wanted to hear your experiences.

Thanks for any help!

The airline will sort it out! there should be no extra expense!

When i went to america. I had enough time between my flight and connecting flight! But because of american immigration (Got interviewed for 3 hours, i was even asked if i was a terrorist...erghhh) i missed my connecting flight. BA just took care of my luggage etc and put me on the next available flight and no extra charges etc

Shouldnt be any extra charges if you booked with the same airline

No refund on the flight though because it wasnt delayed long enough
