My mum bought one of the Dell laptops in the Carphone Warehouse promotion last October.
It's hardly been used but yesterday just refused to turn on. It is in some way broken.
Has anyone got an experience getting things repaired by Dell? What is the correct process - to go to Carphone Warehouse or to Dell? Will I have to pay to send it off or will they collect and return it?
I've been told i'm likely to loose all the data on it, which shouldn't be a massive issue as she's not used it much!
Any advice welcomed!
