Harddisk and video card are the two that get my vote. The CPU can be upgraded, but there's not really much point since the gains aren't going to be massive.

The harddisk would be good to upgrade, since besides the increased storage capacity, you'd have a much more responsive system. You might need to buy a PCI SATA card for this, although this isn't a big problem, as they cost under a tenner. The video card would also be good, as you will currently be using onboard video, which requires system memory and sucks down system resources.

eBuyer on all counts, with the possible exception of the graphics card, which will need to be a half-height (or low-profile as it's otherwise known) AGP 4x card, as memory serves. eBuyer might not sell these. Dabs most certainly should, though. You'll not be able to buy anything amazingly powerful, but something that's fairly usable (which is to say, enough to improve your system, but not enough to run anyy games released over the past two or three years at exciting frame rates) should be available for around the £20 mark.

2.4ghz.... if its Skt 478 which I think it is, then nout much you can do to improve the CPU.
Add another 512mb, more memory always helps. It should be DDR RAM not DDR2.
Better graphics card might help but depends if you do games or 3D editing etc
HDD, are you in need of more or is 20gb enough?
