Dell Outlet and cart emptying...

I've been on Dell Outlet the past several days and I've had my cart cleared within a matter of a minute every time. Just now I had a laptop and I was going to checkout and after I enter my address it says that my cart is empty.

Anyone experiencing this or is there something wrong with my browser (Firefox)?

Yeh, same for me. Tried on 2 PC's and both IE and Firefox. Can't purchase anything.

Someone maybe selecting everything at once, or there is a fault at dell's end. Ive seen 30 inspirons one min, and they all gone the next. try calling the sales line on monday. Or do your browsers have cookies enabled?

Well I tried just now and it was fine. Only problem now is that I don't have the credit cards they have listed. :P
I think I'll give up on Outlet and buy it first hand.

It's nothing browser specific as I've seen it happen numerous times which can be frustrating, I assume it's something to do with people adding the same machine to their basket at the same time.

There are specific browser add-ons/programs to grab the items you set , as they appear, and they are a pita, as they make it almost impossible to get first pick at the best Bargains :(

But it still can be done ... I picked up a wicked spec 1500 Vostro for my son last year at this time but it took almost a week of waiting to pounce at a certain time when they 'hit the online shelves' so to speak...
I did face the dissappearing laptops even back then though LOL , plenty of shouting at the screen :whistling:

Dell stopped the automated scripts from grabbing outlet machines with the image recognition step - before that the Outlet was dead but since then I've been able to pick up bargains on the outlet relatively easily.
