Dell Refurbished Laptop

After reading on here about the Dell outlet store, I've taken the plunge and bought a laptop from there.

I remember reading somewhere on here that you don't receive any back-up discs and you should do a back-up as soon as you receive the laptop. Is this correct?

If so, should I back-up to a portable hard drive or to a flash disk? What size memory will I need?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably best to back up to a DVD and maybe to external HDD as well to be on the safe side I guess...

Personally, I'd just rebuild the machine when I got it or had any problems :P
