Dell Spares?

I'm hoping someone on here is more experienced with Dell than I and can point me in the right direction.

I've got a Studio 17 which has space for a 2nd HD, but no spare bracket or connection adaptor thing (interposer?). I believe these can be bought from Dell, but I've hunted high and low on the Dell site and can't see them or anything remotely like them.

I've asked on a Dell forum and was given a link to the US Dell spares site, which wont accept my service tag. I've looked on Ebay and found nothing, I've looked on the numerous 3rd party sites advertising Dell spares and still come up with nothing. I've emailed Dell and asked where I get them from... nothing!

Anyone had this before and managed to get hold of the bits?

If it's anything like the 2nd drive enclosure for the Vostro 1700 it'll cost you more than the hard drive you're putting in it :S

Dell use none standard components, so you have to get a drive caddy and interface from them before you can add an extra HD, the price moves about a but, but a call to Dell will get you the current one. After that a standard sata 2.5 inch drive will go in.

Yup, its the interface thing and the bracket I'm after. I emailed Dell and asked where I could get them and how much they were and the tech guy replied telling me to call their sales line if I wanted to buy a second hard-drive... I don't want the hard drive, I want the bits to FIT a hard drive!! :x
