If you cannot access an nhs dentist, you can call NHS direct 08454647 and they will direct you to the nearest emergency dentist, but you must emphasise how much pain you are in.

im afraid its gum disease

its very hard to get control of it.buy some interdental brushes, a good electric toothbrush and some Corsodyl mouth wash

here is some info for u

http://www.gumsmart.co.uk/en/1/faq.html

http://www.gumdiseaseinfo.co.uk/pages/gum_disease/what_is_gum_disease.php

how old are u by the way?

also im afraid to say the gum line will not repair it will remain low.u must get on top of it asap

u should see a dentist every 6 months and a hygenist every 3 months until u are on top of the disease

Fair enough then if you've tried to go.

Some numpty on another forum I use posted a picture of a rash to ask everyone what it was because he wouldn't go to the docs.

thats good,
1st thing i would do if i were u is go to the shop and get interdental brushes, most supermarkets to them, they are small brushes that clean plaque from inbetween your teeth.use them daily!they do different sizes so get the smallest(i think the pink are the smallest) or bigger depending on the gaps inbetween your teeth

then get dental floss also use daily.

buy a good toothbrush and brush 4 at least 2 mins a day twice a day

also buy Corsodyl mouth wash this is the best it tastes rank but it will keep it under contrl

it sounds like a big chore but u will get used to doing it,it will not go on its own only "spot on" dental care will stop it getting worse which could lead to loss of teeth
