Hi all,
if anyone could or would take a look at the spec of a budget PC that i am keen to buy and tell me if it is worth the money and if not can they suggest an alternative. A decent graphics card is essential 512mb 8600GT at least
The machine is from ABRICO and has a review in pcadvisor. I do not know how to put up a direct link to it.
Regards jclarsson

i think it's a very average deal; you could do better. do you know how to build a PC?
for £30 more, get this, but it doesn't include a monitor...
sorry i dont know how to build a pc! i am also on a limited budget £500-550 including monitor needs a good graphics card the one i listed has a 1024mb 8600gt. do you think its any good for the money? also from n.ireland no aldi here.
regards jclarsson
I think the above is avereage as well, I wouldnt pay more that £400 including the screen for that, cheaper if I built it, say around £350 from ebuyer!!
8600GT will only just do crysis on low--> medium..... better to build one your self (its real easy just plug in where they fit (the dont fit anywhereelse - most connectors) and your away! i would recoment the nvidia 8800 or higher (320mb) for better gaming

i nkow its out of you budget but i built last month for 1,140 (which i would recomend)

quad 2.4 GHZ
8 GB DDR2 ram
vista ultimate
9800GTX X 2 (sli)
and 1TB HDD all with 24" moniter

if your gonna buy one try tesco thwey had the same spec for about 300 or go to a tesco EXTRA (actual shop not online) and ask for a discount ;-)
