I do have some localish, but havent any transport for the next week, and are not busroute, well they are but with busfares and kids busfare may as well pay for delivery, if i could find a tape measure i could measure but cannot find it, so wondered if i could find mine online it would have specs, but cannot find it if anyone finds a hotpoint RLA30 thats the measurements i need, sorry am flapping a little as now have no fridge

SAssie the price above is the cheapest i can find, however if this fridge is under 5 years old i think you will find the parts are under warranty but labour is only one year.

think its just over the 5 years, but the labour alone is something like a £50 call out, never mind fixing it

the fridge is already to warm to keep anything in it, so really need one asap, at times like this i makes you realised what we take for granted, this really is karma i have been waiting for my washer to go as i have hated it sine the day i brought it, it is cack and was only saying the other day i cant justify the money till it goes, and two days later the chuffin fridge goes, so karma certainly has bitten my butt

This is a bit cheaper http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-2323.aspx Indesit larder fridge in silver @ £154.92 delivered. It's very similar in style to the hotpoint,I should imagine that they are manufactured in the same factory (in Italy),other than the trim there is hardly any difference.

Just a thought :)

thanks again muckypup, dont know if its worth spending the extra for the upgrade of the one i have as i can keep everything out of it, in the 5 years i have had it i have already had to replce the salad bin and bottle shelf from heavy handed kids so just thought ide already have spares - lol

Hehe...that's a good idea.....however just having another look on the specs, the indesit model is slightly slimmer (545mm) than your Hotpoint,so the bits wouldn't fit!

never a chuffin code when you need one
#33
Have you looked at John Lewis? they have a zanussi for £159 and there is a code on here for £15 off. They are offering free delivery, and a two year guarantee. We have used John Lewis before and have had no problems with their service and its really quick delivery as well, I ordered something a couple of weeks ago at about 5pm and it was delivered the next day.

Hi sassie
completely missed this thread last night, dunno why, sorry.

Argos have some Hotpoints for under £150 and other brands much cheaper if you have one near you.

Not being funny but did this fridge just pack up because that's fairly unusual ? Is there power to the fridge and does the inside light still come on ?
Again not beng funny but have you checked the obvious if it's a loss of power ? Fuse, plug etc etc.

I know you will probably have done all that but wrth a reminder :)

ps. Stick any bacon in a jiffy bag and send it down, I'm hungry !!

lmao @ tony, i really must stop using the blonde line, you lot are starting to really think i am blonde - no tony its deffo gone and not a fuse etc,etc - lol

Sorry about not coming back, i fell asleep with lappy still on

Got dixons to price match and got the udated version for £167, more than i wanted to pay but at least i know i have any extras, it will deffo fit and keeps in with the other stuff of the same colour, washer and dryer, and lets hope karma dunna bite my butt again too soon

I paid over the phone with an egg cardso hoping i may get 5% back, never used it before so dont know if its only online purchases you get the cashback, will be a little extra back if i get it

Again thanks for all your help guys, sometimes i think we are living in a cave, now a while longer before i can afford to finish the bathroom, hey whats another year or two -lol
