Going to be short and sweet since for some reason when I submitted last post it redirected and didnt show up!

Anyway had parcel attempted last Thursday, rang Friday to ask for it to be delivered Tuesday, was told I missed last cut off point and had to be Wednesday so was out of house all day tuesday, didnt notice till Wednesday that there was a card for a delivery attempt on Tuesday, and I waited in till 3pm as my parents came round and wanted to go up town with them, and noticed a DHL card in door and checking it said they attempted delivery at 2.45 when I was in the house!

So I waited until yesterday to ring for a redelivery attempt to find it was out for delivery again then which I knew I wouldnt be in house all day so asked themto deliver today instead and was told it was fine.

Checked tracking 30 minutes ago and it says awaiting instruction, rang DHL who said 3 delivery attempts have been made so it hasnt been sent out and no record of me ringing has been made and it will go out Monday(after a lot of haggling)

Thats not nice, I work for a delivery firm, and often I will leave stuff safe,

You could cause the man who left it to lose his job.

Just be honest and be happy that you have it today.

In Six years of being a delivery driver I have never had anybody say they didnt have one that I had left.

Cheers :gift:

Right ho messing me about again, checked delivery number and it says in transit which I think means retuning to sender rang up and spoke to the woman from Thursday who said she authorised it for delivery Friday and doesnt know why it wasnt, and its still in their cage and wont get delivered till tommorow.

So yet another day taken off uni im angry.

If it's so much grief to be indoors to receive it, why don't you just have it sent to a friend or relative who will be around?

As none are really local apart from parents who live like 10 miles out and my dad is the sort who will refuse as it means he has to bring a heavy box down for me etc.

Cant go to depot since its like 40 miles away and I dont have a car
