Dial-a-Phone not honouring deal :-(

I've got the right hump! :-(

Ordered the X6 deal posted here on Sunday through Dial-A-Phone - (X6 plus XBox 250ghdd). Received an order confirmation e-mail Monday morning, due to take delivery of my phone tomorrow; but they rang me up today to tell me that because of a "website glitch" they were unable to do that deal for me. Gutted :-( No nice shiny spanky new phone and games console for me!

Did they offer you anything else? They're going to ring me back tomorrow to "see what they can do" for me!! :-S Am I likely to get anything like the deal posted on Sunday, or was it just a "website glitch"??? *sobs*!

Well, just as I'm trawling through the internet for alternative mobi deals, I happen to receive this message in my Dial-a-Phone account:

"Due to an unforeseen processing problem, there has been a delay in despatching your order. Your delivery has been changed from 4 March 2010, to 5 March 2010. If you are not in when the courier calls they will leave a card explaining how to arrange a collection or delivery of your package. We apologise for this delay and any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Dial-a-Phone Customer Care."

Does this mean they're now going to honour the deal I signed up for, I wonder??? :whistling:

I had the phone call last night to say it was a mistake, this morning i got the delay email (11:34) and at 12:53 received the cancellation.

Its all automated, so I very much doubt you will get anything!

They haven't bothered ringing me...I haven't recieved a cancellation e-mail off them yet, just another message reiterating that my delivery has been delayed until tomorrow, so not sure what's going to happen.... I'm out at work all day tomorrow though, so won't know until I get home tomorrow night what's going on...

This is ridiculous!! Got ANOTHER message - at 23:58 last night to say that my order had been delayed AGAIN! Wow, thanks for the notice guys!! New delivery date is supposed to be Monday 8th. I won't hold my breath!!! :-S

You're as bad as me, reviewing old deals! No, I never received the original deal in the end. Did get a new phone, but that was it; certainly wasn't worth all the hassle!
