I saw this as well - it's terrible to treat a child like that, but then have the front to show it to the whole country :w00t:

I also wonder if anything came of it

...well lets be honest, there are tens if not hundreds of thousands of inadequate, ill-educated, lazy, work-shy, parents right across the country. People that have no inclination to do anything much for themselves let alone bring up their kids with any understanding of a moral obligation to get off their backsides and help themselves in a proper way. Most of them can't finance, feed or house their own kids or themselves without complete state help for a whole lifetime, or understand any obligation to actually provide anything through their own hard work. In this instance that girl cant even be bothered to get out of bed yet probably sits up half the night watching some rubbish tv. Taking the kids off 'em doesn't have the impact it would have on a decent family as it is common place in some areas for that to happen or have an army of social workers visiting just like many others in the street. I didn't see the programme, but I spent years knocking on the doors of Britain's inadequates so nothing would suprise me.

I saw it first time round too. I think something must have been done. I don't think they could have got away with showing it otherwise.

i saw it last night too. i couldnt believe what i was seeing poor baby was just lay in her cot till the afternoon each day.the house was a state too eww all that cat poo on the stairs. at the end of the show they have moved out to a bigger house as she was pregnant again. gosh whats she going to do when she has a newborn to look after as well as a toddler.

Well sadly we alreay know the answer to that one...

1) Get down the social at lightning speed and ensure benefits are maximised to include the new born

2) Deny any knowledge of having a live in boyfriend, nor any knowledge of any previous boyfriends so they can't pay any maintainance

3) Be on the council waiting list for a bigger house and anything else that's free anywhere...

4) Book a place on Jeremy Kyle with some sort of story...

...alternatively to save the rest of us a few quid she could jump off the nearest bridge and sell the kids for medical experiments...

I'm a foster parent and have seen the results of this type of parenting many, many a time :-( I have an 8 year old at the moment, who 3 months ago couldn't even use a knife and fork....this child is one of SIX and mum's still only 30 years old! I prayed for years that I might be able to have another child, I'm devastated that I can't, so I have the next best thing - I take care of little 'uns that haven't had the best start in life - but it's a sad process because as soon as one goes, there's always more to take their place.

I watched this last night and found it incredibly upsetting, I was crying on more than one occasion. I was horrified to hear that they had been moved because they were having another baby. Why? Awful woman.

Wow, I can't believe how selfish the mother was, and with a child so adorable as Georgina. Kerry was so lovely, and how great she's going to start fostering children, good for her.

How a child looks, telling people to jump of bridges. Nice to see you are empathic yourselves.
