i just sold my 2 year old black Iphone 3g 16gb pristine quality on fleabay for £253 (£217 after theyre greedy fees!!)

Would you say this was a good sale? Ive seen some going for £300 but they are new ones but i have my suspicions theyre not genuinely new as the phones been out 2 years. Should i have just said my phone was new!??

Does it matter? Nowt you can do now anyway.

Anyway, at least it makes a change from a Desire HD question.

Seems about right to be honest.
And good that you didn't say it was new when it wasn't, you would have left yourself open to a dispute (plus it's dishonest).
Make sure you have details and photos of the IMEI number etc for your security and send it special delivery so you are covered for any loss or damage in transit.

Recorded only covers max £41, you really should send it via special delivery. The imei number is a unique identifying number for the phone, on the 16GB it might be on the back, but if not go to settings, about and it will be listed there. Means if the buyer is dodgy and tries to say it's faulty and sends a different iPhone back or anything like that you have proof which one is yours. Also if it gets stolen this is the number you need to block the phone.

ah right thanks for your help

Special delivery will cost £6.60 or something like that by the way, about £3 more than the recorded will cost, very much worth the extra in my opinion.

peterjmay, would this be the same pristine 3G 16 GB iphone you currently have listed for sale on HUKD?

You cannot advertise items on HUKD if they are also listed on ebay and you must close your Sales thread before listing elsewhere as per forum rules.
