"Did i write someting i shouldnt of?"

Yes. You wrote "of" when you should have written "have". :-D

Would have been better if you had stuck to the facts TBH.

Yeah think you left a little bit out there ,

Quote "Mr Hussain made a break for freedom by throwing a coffee table at his attackers. He and Tokeer chased the gang and brought Salem to the ground in a front garden.

Reading Crown Court heard how Mr Hussain and his brother then beat Salem while he lay on the ground, using a cricket bat, a pole and a hockey stick - leaving him with a fractured skull and brain damage following the 'sustained' attack. "

but dont let the facts spoil it ,

For the record, Mr Hussain deserved his sentence.

That still doesnt mean that others cannot have a different opinion.

Don't forget that he hit him so hard with the Cricket Bat that it snapped in 3 pieces.

I would have done exectly the same, i have a partner and kids living with me and if someone tried to break into my house i would stop at nothing to protect them.

Do you still hold that opinion. (Quote courtesy of the pirate time machine....)

That story has been rewritten, it now says :

Reading Crown Court heard how Mr Hussain and his brother then beat Salem while he lay on the ground, using a cricket bat, a pole and a hockey stick - leaving him with a fractured skull and brain damage following the 'sustained' attack.

Damn, that's even worse. Only 30 months?

yeh, without a doubt. I have read the story in a bit more depth so understand it a bit more but my opinion still stands, no one would get the chance to hurt my family, if i was stood with knife, bat or gun and someone came towards them, I wouldnt take a chance of them being hurt, i would rather kill them and spend my life in prison than take the chance of something happening to them. you only get one chance, and if it came to my family getting hurt and the government resolving the issue or me taking the matter into my own hands to prevent the matter happening in the first place, i would prevent it. the prevention is always better than the cure.

as i said before this criminal has had 54 previous offences (that he was convicted of), you should speak to one of his prior victims who has suffered at his hands and ask them how they feel?, a man of 56 years of age who knows no other way of life than crime and violence and what has our goverment done to stop him so far? nothing, but let one of his victims fight back and when they do they imprison the man who did nothing but react to defend his family?

If this man didnt break into mr hussains house do you think mr hussain would be chasing innocent people down the street with a cricket bat? no I think he used it out of necessity and in the heat of the moment, as i said, I would still do the same.:viking::viking:

But that wasn't the situation. The bloke was running away, they hunted him down. Otherwise I would agree as that would have been self defence. He wasn't defending anything at that point, and as was pointed out in the other thread he LEFT his family undefended to chase the other bloke down, the others could have returned and killed them. Go figure.
