I bought a Canon D-SLR & a Telephoto Lens to go with it & charged in full on the CC.... This was on the 21st April ... The camera got delivered in a few days ... but the lens was back ordered and they said they did not had in stock so it may take a few more days .... Since then the company went into possibly bad debt or whatever and got bought over by a division of Amazon i have been told but the website is still not retailing ... Not sure where to go from here as my order still shows as backordered ... The card had been charged in full but the lens has not been delievered ... no answer at their office numbers ... The website shows below message -

What would you suggest??? Where do i go from here ....???

I called up the CC company and they advised to wait until 20th May and if no delivery from them then they would request a cashback ... I think i am protected in that sense ...

Well I would send them an email at the contact details they have given and see how it goes from there.As you say,you are protected with your credit card anyway so if all else fails you will at least get your money back.

Thanks muckypup... i have emailed them so many times till now but they just fail to respond ... I am keeping my fingers crossed that either the lens arrives or then i wil have to start a dispute with the CC company ... MBNA (CC company) have always been very good at their customer service...

I think you may have to sit it out until you can start your CC dispute.It will be by no means certain that the company will start up again,and even if they do it could be some time before that happens.

It's a bummer!!

CC Company are jointly and severally responsible, so although you may have to go through a few hoops, you should get somewhere.

Check out Which? Legal help service - it's about a tenner for 3 months - or the CAB

It is .. I am hoping it just goes well ... its just a hassle going through with the disputed transactions ..

Im in the same boat too - not sure what to do - will the Credit card pay back on the items not sent?
