I finaly got a reply from GAMING EXTREME,after 4 emails and 1 phone call (YES IT WAS A RECORDED MESSAGE)why add a contact phone number and just have a recording telling you to go to web site,on my last email saying I wanted my cash refunded as I never received my item,order placed on the 19th feb 2008,Or I would post a message on here explaining to people how bad the service is from there site.
They wrote if I post any incorrect information about them ITS SLANDER and they will take me to court,plus they said they posted the item on the 28th feb 2008 and after its posted its out of there hands and I will not be receiving a refund.
I told them lets make this legal and take me to court,lets see who wins.
If this is the case any online shop can take your cash and say they posted the item and there nothing you can do.
Anyone got any advice on this.
My Addvice is stay clear of GAMING EXTREME.
One part of the company name suits them They are EXTREMELY hard to get the item you payed for from them.

You're right, on that basis alone I wouldn't shop with them.

They look utter rubbish.

Ihope you didn't lose much money. Take them to the small claims court and report them to trading standards. Good luck. :)

Ask them for the confirmation of postage. Most items delivered are covered by insurance - which covers the poster, so they can obtain a refund from the courier. If they dont have it and you have waited what is considered to be a resonable time (depending on how they say they sent it, next day delivery etc) then you are entitled to a refund. Trading standards is your first port of call. They hold a dossier on all companies that have had a complaint made against them.

Generally it is the sellers responsibility up to the point the item is delivered - they are liable to send a replacement or refund you.

Let your credit card company know that you have been charged but not received the item.

had a few dealings with gaming extreme myself and only ever had 1 issue with a package being lost in transit, i got a refund after the 15 days of postage of the parcel as i know the guidelines with parcel delievery as i work for Lynx (part of the Parcel Force Group)

plus they said they posted the item on the 28th feb 2008 and after its posted its out of there hands and I will not be receiving a refund.
as above, i work for a parcel delivery company myself and parcels on this type of line have a 5 working day window (not including weekends and 5-10 days if overseas eg holland, ireland and EU etc)

If this is the case any online shop can take your cash and say they posted the item and there nothing you can do.
not the case at all as its down to the company that deliver the goods to deliver them and the company (being any at all) have got to wait the 15 days before they can claim the money back if the package isnt delivered, at this time i would say that the refund would then be a posability, but please do not quote me on that as its down to the company the issues are with.

this is slanderous mate and they can take you to court for this and i quote from ask.com

-an abusive attack on a person's character or good name
-charge falsely or with malicious intent

Could i ask where you got this contact number from aswell as they are an internet based site mate from what i recall and have no contact number to contact them

i have been on the site a number of days mate so its not the case at all so i think you need to get off your high horse and chill! as for me taking you to court, ur right, i wont take you and have no reason to apart from the fact of you thinking your right when clearly your not.

as for the phone number, its an automated line for information and automated delivery information as i have just called the number from my mobile myself - try it for your self if you dont believe this.

i'm sure you'll agree that this is a site for discussion aswell as deals so i am putting my view across, unlike yourself, becoming a keyboard warrior who hasnt anything relevent to say who more than likely has never used the company, therefore having no hands on experience so to speak and just wants to make people feel unwanted on here or make them out to be something that they are not!.

enough said really so any1 reading this please make sure its topic related, not wanting to have a dig unlike this sarcastic keyboard warrior has done. if you would like to have a go again harlzter then can i recommend private messages as i'm sure others like myself will soon get bored of all your comments that really have no backing apart from other peoples words

If he was led to believe it was next day delivery and many firms do, 1 wk is too much

I agree it seems like he has told the truth about his experience, that is not slander as slander is the spoken word, for written word it is libel a fact the company obviously dont know jack about!!!

All I have wrote on this thread is true,this is how I have found the site in question dealt with my complaints.
Payed for the item 17 days ago and I have still not recieved it.I would have had no comunication from the site If I had never kept emailing them.I have shopped on the net a very long time,shops like Amazon and they keep you upto date on your order,and refund cash without a Problem if your goods are lost in post.(it is your right to a refund for unreceived goods you payed for in addvance).I will give it the 15 days and if my Item still has not arrived I will take it futher.I hope get my item before then,but being posted 8 days ago,you would think it would reach its destination in the UK by now.The site in question has now banned me from using my account.All I every wanted was what I payed for.

I love the way on forums when theres some type of scam going on a bunch of random people start saying how good they are yet they only registered the previous day and have a few posts.

If they don't sort it out, I don't know how taking them to court or Trading Standards will help, as has been suggested above. But in fairness to sophie**, I didn't know that they are based overseas either.

I don't know how you paid for the goods, but that might be the way to go in looking for your money back.

Write in to computer active and let them sort....they are very good.....sorted a little matter for awhile back...they get results....
