Hi all for 6weeks now i have been seriously healthy eating, cutting down my calorie intake and being more active.
The first month i lost a stone. Now the last two weeks absolutly nothing! I dont want to get disheartened as i am truly serious about this.

I am hoping i can blame my monthlys which is anytime now but even so, 2 weeks!
jeez..
Take yesterday i had One Sandwich and One Gammon round ALL DAY!
Today ive had half a bowl of Shreddies and im making sheps pie for tonight. ( no potato, i use swede as topping)
This is about as much as im having.

Any Ideas.

Stop starving yourself for one and lose the bread as that doesn't help hun.
If you can cut out wheat, dairy and sugar for the next week or so you'll have weightloss

I know the feeling i have been good and stayed the same this week. Sometimes though your body needs a boost and needs a good feed to boost your metabolism again. So tryi eating a bit more. Works for me. good luck x

Your body is just re-organising itself, as you cut down fat and carbs your body re-adjusts to compensate. What it does is to store the carbs for use later. Whilst you're not losing weight what you are doing is losing size, so the scales will say that you haven't lost but the tape will tell a different story and you'll be losing inches from waist, jowls and (unfortunately if you're a woman) breasts!
Keep up the good work and see the weight drop again ina bout 2 weeks.

yep, i needmore veg. and i had cut out bread ( except yday as i was out at function) i replaced bread with rivita.

Might slightly increase my intake of veg this week and more fruit.

u dont need to cut out bread, u can eat wholemeal :thumbsup:

If you dont eat enuff, you body starts using up its reserves .
Make sure you drink plenty of water or better still green tea.

Also sometimes you will lose inches and not weight so helpful to either get special scales that monitor body fat and /or take a few vital statistics, breast, thigh, waist , hips, biceps

You need to be eating full meals, but try not to eat stodgy carbs.
Wholemeal bread, brown rice all the way and eat regularly. One Sandwich and one gammon round is not enough for a full day's food intake, if you starve yourself your body will go into starvation mode and start making fat stores, which you don't want obviously!

Fill up with veggies and fruit and make sure you're eating three or four times a day, otherwise your metabolism will drop through the floor :) Drink loads of water and try not to worry about the weightloss side of things too much.

Use a tape measure and measure your waist, hips and thighs, it'll give you a more accurate representation of what you're losing where, and help you to focus your exercise on the bits that need it :)

ive been on a shake diet for a month and lost 2 stone....maybe try that? u go in ketosis so guarentted to loose

Some good advice here :)

Dont feel too disheartened when you don't lose weight, at least you didn't put any back on! Just keep it up and eat some more, your doing well!

Hi hun,first let me say well done for weight loss so far. I totally know how you are feeling i have recently lost 2 stone and it has been hard work. As everyone has said before me you are seriously not eating enough each day. If you starve yourself it wont work trust me,i tried it .the weeks i ate very little i only lost 1lbs, now eating right i am losing 2-3lbs a week. Even though you are not eating much the things you have been having are not great you could make better choices. Instead of shreddies have all bran,bran flakes etc full of fibre fill you up and good for you,try soup or beans on wholemeal toast for lunch,dinner's like sheps pie are fine if made with lean meat. Am no expert but if you ever need help,please feel free to PM me xx

dont tempt me, i've put on weight since i got with my bf :-(
he keeps buying me chocolate and makes me eat, he went away for 2 days and i lost 10lbs 2 days after he came back i put on 4lbs :?

You are deffo not eating enough! I lost the three stone I had to lose by eating roughly 1000 calories a day and walking the 20 mins to work instead of getting the bus! You can do ity...just eat more!!!
