i dont know tbh! i have experience with buying cameras though! if you want a small cam check that it takes lithium batteries and not AA...i wouldnt buy from ebuyer as customer services were rubbish with me when we got a TV from them. I buy from Tesco would you believe? I waited til they sold the Olympus mju 790 for a silly price as I wanted it to be kid-proof!! I have just used it on hols and it is lovely-you can even use in the pool! I know a lot of people buy online (I do it a lot!) but at least if you buy online from a store you can return easily if you are not impressed?

I'm a beginner when it comes to cameras, but If it was me choosing, I'd go for the amazon one.

but given what happened to your last one a waterproof may be better value-lol

I like photography and would say im quite good at it so heres my views....

Stay away from the sony from comet.........it takes AAs which will drain quite quickly.

The ebuyer one is a no no......cause its from ebuyer and they are bad at after sales....as said above.

The amazon one is good for the money but doesnt do anything extra then other cameras less in price (plus personally i think it looks ugly)

The casio is great and i have the 7mp version as my point and shoot, i wouldnt however take it on holiday as long distance scenic shots tend to have alot of noise in the background.

The currys one is good for the price and the 10mp is good, though i wouldnt take any notice of the 5x digital zoom, youll only ever use the optical zoom.

If i had to choose a good all rounder from your list it would be the casio.

However if you want a reccomendation, id choose one from Canon's Ixus range which i also have and they are fantastic, if a little more expensive then £100

Hope this helps, let me know if you want any more help.

for louloo:

Having had an Olympus many moons ago i am always reluctant to look at them as they seemed cumbersome and bulky.

Based on specs its a very good camera however the price might be inflated as you pay for the waterproofing.

Can i ask how much you paid for it?

i think it was round £89 as tesco cleared them online and i got points and quidco so it was good value. I had olympus before so found it easy to use but the waterproof knock proof facility swung it for me as i have a 6 year old budding photographer!! I also have the fuji s5700 and i take pics with both (the olympus at the pool!)
The fuji is fantastic imo but the olympus i would recommend for anyone who drops the cam in the sea!!
So what do you think of it?

A few of the cameras there mention 'digital image stabilisation' or 'digital anti-shake' - you're best to ignore this as it isn't proper image stabilisation at all, it changes the sensitivity of the sensor for a higher shutter speed which in turn produces a lot more noise. Proper stabilisation systems mechanically stabilise the image and produce a less blurry picture in certain situations.

£89 is a REALLY good price.......i was going to say i hope you didnt pay any more than £120 on the original post so i think that for that price is a dam fine camera!
