i bought a digital camera recently from ukdigitalcameras.co.uk . They give you a two year warranty (second year return to them). I found the camera I wanted slightly cheaper (a few £s) somewhere else and asked them to price match. they reduced delivery for me and said they'd price match the camera but only for a standard 1 year warranty. I kept the camera at their price for the extra warranty.

Edit: Looking at it though, they don't do the model you're after.

You sure you want that cam?

There's competition for the best-looking camera in this Labs, but the S52c wins it for us. The glossy, deep purple finish has a sparkly shimmer, and the 3in screen makes composing and reviewing shots a pleasure.
It's been a while since we saw a camera with WiFi. Previous Nikon WiFi cameras were able to upload to a PC, but slow connection and transfer speeds made it a pointless gimmick. Here, photos are transferred directly to www.mypicturetown.com and an email sent to your chosen recipients. Connecting to a wireless network and using the feature were easy.
The S52c's performance isn't so great. It took 4½ seconds to power up and shoot, and 3.2 seconds between subsequent shots. Repeated shooting was erratic, with the camera sometimes shooting immediately, sometimes eventually, and sometimes requiring repeated pushes of the shutter button.
The 9-megapixel resolution is the lowest here, but more than enough for our liking. In fact, a lower resolution would be preferable in this camera, as the densely packed pixels in the 1/2.5in sensor are susceptible to noise in low light. At ISO speeds of 400 and above, noise-reduction processing sacrificed details and still failed to suppress noise in shadows. The camera fared better in brighter conditions, but was still below average in present company.
The design and WiFi feature are worth having, but not alongside so-so performance and image quality.
