Any movies that you were looking forward to, but felt was a bit of a let down?

Watched Due Date last night and it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. It had it's moments but on the whole not a great film!

Skyline - worst film I have seen in a long time, so bad that the ending was a series of screens.
#3
I went to see Rango with the kids. I wasn't impressed and neither were the kids.
#4
Fantastic Four Rise of the silver surfer..
GI JOE

I'll say Avatar too. Terrible film. Saw it once and haven't felt the need to see it again.

Technologically brilliant but just no heart.

Superman 2

Hadn't watched it since I was tiny and watched it the other day. Really hasn't aged well.

Why did Zod have finger beams? Since when has Superman had super cellophane chest powers? If Lex Luthor can track aliens using 'alpha waves' how does he not know who Superman is? Why can Clark cause amnesia by tonguing someone? Why when the villains were powerless, did a smiling 'big blue boy scout' Superman and Lois then precede to murder them?

Can't really say I've been overly disappointed with any film. I tend to have a good idea if something will be good or not before watching so expectations are never too high.

I cant even remember what it was called.. District 9? The film with the prawns or whatever they were! Mr 999 loved it and let someone else watch it too (unfortunately he returned the dvd to us!), I thought it was terrible!

Oh, and The Happening. Worst £3 Ive ever spent. Really... really bad film!

Superman Returns - Super kid, really?!?

Indiana Jones newest one - Aliens and UFO's in Indiana Jones?

Not really one I was 'looking forward to' but I watched the first two twilight films and they are just excruciatingly bad.

Drag me to hell
Avatar was ok, totally over rated. I thought I was the only person to think this.
Clash of the titans, why I paid to watch this I have no idea.

On another note, watched Battle of Los Angeles and thought it was great, typical 'independence day' type movie but enjoyable.

I'm not sure how Inception could disappoint. Great action, amazing script, brilliant performances.....

Knowing - Some good disaster sequences but why does Nicolas Cage just accept the weird Aliens choice to not rescue any adults and only take a handful of kids in their creepy space vans?

Nothing will outdisappoint 2012 tbf.

scott pilgrim vs the world, its just edgar wright and his hipster buddies masturbating on camera over how cool they think they are.
kick ass, well half the film to be honest as the stuff with nic cage and hit girl really was incredible but everything else was just some crap saved by the bell romantic sub plot.

Splice.

Sat down expecting mildly braindead scifi horror and found myself horrified every 5 minutes or so, not being able to believe where this film would go next. I truly believe this film could go down as a textbook study in how to fit the maximum horror clichés and contrived plot twists into one film.

Paranormal Activity 1 & 2

REALLLY!?!
Any film that has a female character telling their boyfriend they are 'late' yadda yadda yadda, is awful lazy scripting.

And I despise the fact they gave up at the end and used stills.

oh so rubbish
