Hi,
just wondering if anyone had heard back from disney regarding missing points from their disney dvd / blu-rays? I sent them an email a while back and still heard nothing!, Im gutted as I would have been able to get ratatouille or dinosaurs on blu ray but now they have all gone!

Has anyone had a reply yet?

i got the following email, replied but nothing since then

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your email about our eligible Disney Movie Rewards titles.

Disney Movie Rewards began November, 2009 and included only select new release titles. Since then, we have included many of our Disney classics to be eligible for Disney Movie Rewards points.

Some Disney classics purchased prior to March 22nd, 2010 are not eligible for Disney Movie Rewards points. Please review the eligible titles list for your titles date of eligibility.

If your eligible Disney title is missing a code. We will be happy to assist you with your point redemption, please know that all point requests may be subject to verification and original purchase receipts may be necessary.

IF you have an electronic receipt of a eligible Disney DVD or BD title missing a Magic Code, please send a copy of the electronic receipt via email to our customer service at [email protected]">[email protected]. For titles missing codes, you may request a code for that title by sending the eligible titles Proof of Purchase tab to the following:

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment

3 Queen Caroline Street

Hammersmith, London, W6

If you have any further questions, please contact us at [email protected]">[email protected] .

Sincerely,

The Disney Movie Rewards Consumer Relations Team

Still havent heard anything back from any contact with them but going by the response above and a few others who received the exact same email from them, they will tell us all the same thing.

I googled the tabs thing and it seems its from the barcode of the blurays.
I'll need to clarify with them exactly what they want as people were talking about redemption of tabs in USA for money back on dvds when they purchased the blurays and there was talk of having to cut off the barcode,

https://disneyupgradetoblu.com/blu_ray/assets/images/proofofpurchase.png

There's no way i'm defacing an item i have just spent good money on, so i hope that they dont suggest that as it will just not happen.
Will email them again tomorrow and ask them to clarify exactly what they need to see as far as the tabs go.

Going by the above pic it looks like an extra part of the barcode that can be removed, i've checked my blurays and they dont have this on the barcode area at all so not sure what it refers to. Dont know if the US versions and the UK versions differ in this way ?

that shows a clearer image of what the us disney collectors call the proof of purchase tabs,
if you zoom in you can see the perforated lines on the barcode area where i assume you cut it off and send it to them.

As i daid, none of mine have that on so what are we supposed to do in the UK if these are missing and this is what it refers to ?

Will ask them tomorrow but god knows how long it'll take for a response???

Thanks,
If i hear anything i'll also let you know.

I've just sent another email informing them that the proof of purchase tabs are not present and it seems to me that they are not actually present on UK releases,
I've checked every blu ray i bought and there are none on any of them,
And asked how we can send tabs that dont exist and if there is another way to prove proof of purchase.
Will see what they have to say.
