Have any of you wonderful people been to Disneyland Paris for a few days?
I want to go with my wife and 6 year old girl for 3 days, but have not got the foggyest idea where to start looking. I want it to be niceish weather, so prob May or June time.
Where to stay, how to get there, and how much it costs!!!
Any help would be great.

Have a look at this site www.thedibb.co.uk A fountain of knowledge for all things Disney. They have a special section for Disneyland Paris.

went 3 times last year-great place! best deal you will get is to book the hotel and ticket package direct at www.disneyland.co.uk and then find cheap travel separately-eurostar/ryanair/easyjet etc.

hotel new york is amazing, explorers hotel if on a cheaper budget

http://www.disneylandparisdirect.com/

is that not a bit cheaper barky??

we were looking the other day and direct from the disney site was more expensive? also any cashback tips? eg quidco etc

you get cashback(quidco) from disney-in my experience booking direct with them is the cheapest method.

tips-buy all your drinks/snacks for the day in the park at the "relay" shop inside the train station at the entrance to the park before you go in-will save a fortune.

if you have never been before-make sure you see the buffalo bill wild west show one night-amazing spectacle-dinner included.

also dinner in cafe mickey in the village is an absolute must-the character interaction during the meals is fantastic.

and if you go into paris-the applestore in the mall underneath the louvre sells unlocked 3gs 16gb iphones for 349 euros! its illegal to sell locked phones in france.

ah ur right i just tried it and the hotel new york came to £580 for 3 nights for the 2 of us, did u like the hotel new york then? the biggest hotel looks quality but it was £900+ for 3 nights which is out of our pricerange as students and ideally id like to go away somewhere hot with her later in the summer ie august if we can afford it so cant justify spending that much!!

biggest hotel is amazing-but tbh m8,its for kids-all decorated with mickey etc-if its you and the gf then new york is the best one to go for if u can afford it-5 minute walk through the village-2 swimming pools, gym. staff are brilliant and the breakfasts at new york are unbelievable-you can overdose on sausage, bacon and eggs if you like or get cereal/fruit/yoghurt or whatever.

i second what Barky says...New york was lovely. Food excellent and we even saw people making butties at breakfast to take with them lol

i booked with disneyland but the irish site as it worked out a lot less...i just paid in euros!

we went in the car and shopped in the evenings at the shopping centre 5-10 minutes away. It saved a lot of money on food as we had 4 days and the food in the park was expensive. No-one stopped us taking food in.

brilliant ill try and force the new york upon her then, do they do "breakfast with disney characters" at that hotel, shes 19 but loves disney and is a bit of a kid in that sense ha! would like to get that for her as a suprise really.

Just tell her you've booked her for breakfast with Dumbo, then turn up nekid with a carnation between your teeth.

Gotta be worth it for the Lulz. not to mention the savings.:-D

the characters are all over the hotel all day-they dont actually come in the dining room tho at breakfast-you can book a character meal(even breakfast) at cafe mickey tho-one minute walk from hotel. the concierge at the new york is excellent and can fix just about anything tho-if you bunged him 5 euro,he could probs get minnie or mickey to come to your table. Best concierge service Ive had at any hotel-they do expect to get tipped but can pretty much sort anything you want.

hahahaha or ill just go at the same time as jellybaby, ask her to put on a mermaid suit and try and pass her off to my gf as an albeit uglier/fatter version of ariel from the little mermaid.(they both ginger at least)

I wonder who'll be the first to tell her! :w00t:

as Barky says the charaters are in the hotel a lot of the time and will pose for pics happily! theyre outside the breakfast room and in the lobby...all over!
if you do go there and have kids tho the rooms are reasonable size but not huge(ours was lovely on a corner over the ice skating rink!) I met a lady who had said the room was two small for her with two teens and they gave her a suite FOC...maybe helpful if you have a baby(JB?) and need cot space..but tbh our room was nicer :)
if you stay at the other disney hotels they shuttle you in and it seemed to be continuously shuttling. We didnt use it but they were really stuffed full and slow..the walk from New York was lovely and if i went again i would stay there.

Ace and Guv-i wouldnt want to be in your shoes when JB sees that:w00t:
