I haven't got the hang of text speak, please translate. :)
So if you've installed the Sony Ericsson SEUS Update s/w to your PC then every time it connects it will re-lock your phone !
Using the IMEI code unlock is permanent so you can use SEUS !

Does anyone know if this patch unlock will make the phone work on a 3g network? Can someone try for me if they have a 3g sim.
ser03, could you please put a step by step guide on how to put the patch on correctly. Ive never used the patch generator before. The links you gave are ok but a little breif in description.
Thanks.
Please read readme.txt which is with patch and ask any questions you need but all very simple
run patch +locate Main file and run it.
try should work

I have tried the process twice, and even though setool2 has no problems when I turn on the phone it says 'configuration error' and does not start up.
I have re-flashed it and put the .vkp patch on but its still the same.
What am I doing wrong? I have some questions....
- When you flash the phone do you import BOTH .mbn and .fbn files into setool2? or just the .mbn?
- Whilst the flash process takes place the quick access.vkp file into the MISC tab it asks you if you want to delete (click yes) or save (click no) the patch. do you save it or not?
- When the flash process is complete it says to import the 'Remove_SIM_lock_K800_R1JC002.vkp' file that you generate from the patch generator into the MISC field. I did this and saved the patch but when starting the phone it says 'confguration error'
Thats good news, any advice on what was going wrong or a link to the tutorial you used.
Waiting for my phone to arrive next week, so nice to be prepared.
Thanks
or simpler just use X++ for it
