Do i try to use discount code on Littlewoods or not?

I want to buy my 2 youngest boys crocs sandals for the summer & Littlewoods is selling for £20 a pair, so after the £15 off orders over £25 code it will work out as costing me £25 for 2 pairs. Sweetfeet are doing them for £16.58 a pair so would cost me £33.16 for 2 pairs. My dilemma is that i have seen on here that some people have had problems with Littlewoods deciding afterwards that they won't give you the discount so just wanted to know your opinions on what i should do? thanks :)

i would avoid at all costs. too many times have i heard of people suddenly getting charged for the discounts that were applied at the time of purchase. for £8, it's not worth it IMO

You will hear a lot of 'Croc' and people linking to sensational stories.

Ignore them and use the discount code.

Yup - i'd use the code. I've used their codes for years and never had a problem:thumbsup:. I know there was a load of hassle with the £25 code last year - people being charged weeks after using it (myself included) but I thought that most people were refunded :? and that the issue was something to do with the lack of a min. spend. They are overpriced anyway, but you can get some good deals with the codes. If in any doubt try phoning the order through - I know that way you won't get Quidco but at least if they are happy to apply it for you in person then you know for sure there is no comeback :).

You can safely use any of their first order codes then seeing as yoy havent got an account. Never heard of anyone having a problem with a first order discount:)

People did have problems with being a first order, but I can safely say that a few calls is all it takes IF anyone has a problem.

I have a few accounts, and have enough "Up top" to stop me from getting taken for a ride.

never had a problem here either! i always use the codes (well ones that dont require a credit account) never had a problem. had a prob once with additions where they took full price but a shirt email later and FULL refund of the item in my bank within a few days result!! go for it!! quick question, have your kids had crocs before? my local jones the bootmaker deterred me from buying them, apparently they are bad for little feet and ankles?!

No they've never had crocs before, we live very close to the beach & have been told they are really good for rock pooling so wanted to get them for them. My boys are 5 & 6 so haven't got so little feet  but i could understand if they were for a toddler
Still trying to decide what's best to do (i'm so indecisive - ask my hubby) If i buy from sweetfeet i can pay by paypal (got money in my account) & get 10% Quidco or buy by debit card from littlewoods with 6% Quidco.......

hmmm id probably go with sweetfeet tbh as you get more quidco!! and then your debit card money can be used for something nice for you!! (or some buckets and spades!!)

I used that code, and had it applied over the phone. Still had it taken back after 2 month though, so doesnt matter how you order.

The £25 code was supposed to be for new customers, and I was a new customer when I used it.

Saying that though, if the voucher isnt applied then you can return them, and I cant see them asking for the money back after 2 months again (last time they had to repay it all, and I actually ended up £15 up)
