Do I need to leave my Sky+ HD box connected to the phone line?

Any ideas? I'm happy to connect at the start but do I need to leave it connected?

My phone "box" is near the front door, which is well away from my TV/box.

No, not unless you have multi room or you need to connect it for PPV events.

As long as you've not got multiroom, otherwise they don't really care.

Most sky engineers will tell you, that you don't need to be connectred to the phoneline.

whatever you do don't get bt in to move the phone socket it'll cost a packet.

You are supposed to leave it connected for 12 months. Most people take it out as soon as the engineer has gone.

I Have multiroom and have sky HD in my bedroom for about 5 months and only had it plugged in the first day it was installed, dont worry about it lol, Iv never been contacted about it not being plugged in, tho I do recommend u plugging it into your router using an ethernet cable, the new Anytime+ is pretty decent, not needed but for extra movies etc its really good
