DO NOT USE QUIDCO!!

BeemerMadBeemerMad

I have just been done like a kipper using Qudco!

I know Quidco is run by the same fella who runs this site but I will still have my say as their site is very limited and has cost me every single penny I built up!!

I had my bank details installed in the payment section, I have since changed banks (about 7 months ago), I altered the account details in the payment section to my new bank details, and I also DOUBLE CHECKED to make sure everything was correct.

On the 30th May I cashed out.

Today I still did not receive any payment so I was a little concerned.

I logged into Quidco and my account confirmed payment had been made, so I checked my payment details and the it had been paid to my old account!!

WTF!!????

I checked and double checked that my bank details had been amended to the new account!

Now this money has been paid into my old account it has long gone!!

Sort your system out!!

Avoid Quidco!!!

If your old account has closed down then the payment into it would have been rejected?!

    Thread member spammed. Now Open.

Have you tried contacting quidco directly, it would seem more appropriate I'd say.

i think quidco are awesome, i've had over £200 from them in the last two months! bah, only £11 pound left waiting to be recieved in there now :(

Topcashback is a lot better than Quidco (I've been using Quidco for 5 years previously).

Quicker tracking, more percentage of transactions tracked, no annual fee's, higher rate of cashback & quicker payments !

The payment would be rejected by your bank and returned to quidco if it is an inactive account, there is no where else for it to go!

if you've closed the account with the one bank the payment will be returned to sender hun, open a ticket with Quidco telling them the problem and they should let you know when its been returned.

Do you not know this is the internet, people don't do things like actually contact a company if there's a problem, they go onto forums and moan about it instead.

hi OP, same happened to me im sure i changed the details but when i checked it was paid into my old closed account.

i contacted quidco and they said it can take up to 14 days for the payment to be returned to quidco and the money will be sent on the next payment run.

    enjoy OP.

Where is the Quidco thread btw? I seem to get 9 out of 10 transactions not track these deays inc my latest O2 one, a pc for a family member from PC world, some Just Eat ones, and a few more, not a single one has tracked!

delete cookies beforehand, give it time, atleats 2 days then if it still doesnt track throw in a claim, nearly 99% have tracked for me and i use quidco and tcb

Quidco basically give you free money (Apart from the tiny £5 annual fee), so why would people stop using them?
And doesn't Quidco pay you automatically every month instead of a "Cash out"? It does for me.

Bit fed up of Quidco myself..

Only seem to have one customer service advisor named "Adele" who refuses to read messages properly.
Tracking and payment has been taking even longer recently with one taking over 6 month.

Not sure why they feel the need to charge a £5 administration fee considering they probably make more money elsewhere in the site.

    --------------------

AT OP - Call the bank where the old details were listed if the transfer is recent. The payment will be in one of their holding accounts and they may be able to correct the details and forward it to the appropriate account although more than likely they will have to send it back to Quidco who will then transfer to the right account providing you notify them.

lol I love QuidCo when it comes to my home insurance, typically get £40+ cashback on my home and contents each year reducing it by more than 25% with other stuff insured.

Have to admit I only really use it for big purchases and never remember for CD's/DVD's/Games etc..

Whenever I am purchasing something, I always think can I get it cheaper, gain points or get cashback etc...

I must change to topcashback.com though they do seem better.

Because they're slow, it doesn't always track and the customer support is rubbish, topcashback is better in all those aspects.

    +1

never use quidco anymore. TCB is far superior and no rip-off £5 fee

its easy to remember - just never purchase anything online via your main browser. use a different browser for online purchases with its home page set to TCB or quidco.

no need to clear cookies etc either and never have tracking problems again.
