They do tell you ... When you get out a contract your allowance is for calls to uk mobiles or landlines ... Lyca mobile isn't a standard uk network so why would assume they are included ?

UK mobile numbers begin with 07 normally as do lyca mobiles. In what way are they not 'standard uk numbers'?

Agree with OP. Tmobile dont even warn you. Took me a long time to figure out what the extra charges where on my monthly bill lol. Figured out I was charged for texting a lyca number.

If you ring tmobile and complain about it then they should refund your extra charge...

Only refunded me £10. They should at least warn you when you call, but they don't even do that.

Apparently it should be in the fine print... which is useless imo

All their new contracts from may include calls to Lyca and lenses. Ask to change to a new plan! Also why should they warn you when as per the other networks they have a price guide online that states this

No the price guide does not include all the prefixes. Do they expect me to call them each time I want to call a new number?

Thats just ridiculous. When i ring an 08 number do I not get a warning that I'll be charged? So why not for these numbers? It's easy to spot an 08 number! But more difficult to spot these crappy lyca numbers, hence the need for a warning.

I don't think we should be defending ANY network provider. If everyone simply moved to the cheapest one but without little scams in place like this one from T-mobile then the networks would be forced to get their act together and be kept on their feet.

Maybe I'll stick with Vodafone in the future - or even 3, they are better than these idiots.

Does anyone know if EE is charging extra for calling Lyca mobile now ? ONe of my friend was complaining that he is being charged for calling a lyca mobile eventhough he had free minutes.

Lyca and the rest of the networks like Lyca in the uk are using uk networks
So why the hell are we paying extra for calling a uk network!
