I noticed about a year ago that I tend to see the numbers 111 or 1111 all the time. If I glance at a clock the time will be 1:11 or 11:11. I know it sounds strange but I see the numbers all the time, like that film, the number 23!!! lol

I searched online for this and found that other people have been experiencing this and apparently it's your angels way of communicating with you. I know it all sounds a bit crazy but I was just wondering if anyone else on here experiences this or any other numbers that keep showing up in their lives.

I have no clue what it means really, probably nothing, just strange that it keeps happening to me. I'll always look at the clock at this time and I'm not doing it on purpose. It'll happen with page numbers as well and all sorts of things.

For me it's 213.

About a guy who reads a book called the number 23, and then he starts realising that his whole life is based around the number 23. There's a big twist at the end.

On his birthday, Walter Sparrow, an amiable dog-catcher, takes a call that leaves him dog bit and late to pick up his wife. She's browsed in a bookstore, finding a blood-red-covered novel, a murder mystery with numerology that loops constantly around the number 23. The story captivates Walter: he dreams it, he notices aspects of his life that can be rendered by "23," he searches for the author, he stays in the hotel (in room 23) where events in the novel took place, and he begins to believe it was no novel. His wife and son try to help him, sometimes in sympathy, sometimes to protect him. Slowly, with danger to himself and to his family, he closes in on the truth.

I don't see numbers, just floaters.

Déjà vu now there's something I experience quite a bit.

Deja Vu happened to me a lot about 2 days ago, really strange. I'm sure I'd experienced it all before.

Nothing like this happens to me, But I like counting :o Really weird, I know, I like things ending with either a 5 or 0 and if it doesn't work out I get really annoyed until I find something that balances out.

1111 is a very simple and obvious pattern, the more you think about it then the more aware of it you will be. There are certain numbers that will jump out at me for some reason, usually mathematical sequences. It extends beyond the concept of numbers entirely, when I buy a car I do quite a bit of research and I find afterwards that I seem to spot my model of car everywhere when I thought they were quite rare where I live. In Number 23 he could rearrange the numbers in different ways it's just he influences to produce 23.

Deja Vu is an interesting one as it something I've experienced as have most people but for a long time I never saw a good explanation for (I previously studied cognitive modelling). More recently there seems to be some credible reasoning appearing which attempts to explain it, it's basically a flaw in the memory system where it triggers a response that you have an active memory of whatever despite the fact there is no actual memory. This may be down to a breakdown in the separation between memories or an overlap between short and long term memories although any of this is difficult to conclusively prove.

I just noticed 0321 on my clock... sometimes it's 1321 and so on... the clock is out of my focus but it's still in my vision... and I also have a body clock... so there's so logic behide it... I just think it's sorting me out with the lotty numbers myself.

What took you, John? I was worried for this thread as soon as I saw the line "apparently it's your angels way of communicating with you. " :giggle:

For me it's 22:22 (like on a clock face)

I see that so often when I glance at a clock, don't know what made me notice it initially.
#26
Once you become aware of something you notice it more. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, everywhere I looked there were pregnant women, or babies in prams, freaked me out for a while... lol
you probably glance at numbers hundreds of times a day without even realising, until you pick up on something, like 111., then you just keep noticing.

What you described is not deja vu. I think you are mixing up psychological states to create something new - perhaps you should coin it dejamonition :giggle:

Johnmc17 might confirm this...

I constantly see 12:34 - waiting for lunch time, it'll be 12:34. Going to bed/waking up for the bathroom or whatever, it's 12:34am too. Groundhog Day I tells ya!

Enjoyable film that. Carrey does oddball/creepy well. I liked Eternal Sunshine... for that.
