Do you ever forget your first love?

I was reading a post on here about what CDs remind you of school and I instantly remembered my first love from many years ago!! 20 odd years on and I still think about my her, how mad is that!!

I've tried (and failed) looking for her over the years (through Friends Reunited, Facebook, etc), not because I want to get back with her or anything (I'm very happily married now!!), but I just want to know what shes been doing/how many kids she has etc...

Aw, did my school girl snogs remind you of your 1st love.

I have seen my 1st bf about 5 years ago.

He was taking drugs and his life was a bit messy.

I tried to help him sort his life out but I realised he was more messed up than I 1st thought.

He has tried to contact me through facebook but I can't be bothered I have a good man now :-D

I think you'd be spot on if I was looking for her for a relationship but I'm just curious how her life has turned out i guess...

OP, reading what you have said leads me to believe you have the traits of a stalker.

No offence

Sometimes I wish I had stayed with him at the beginning.

He joined the army when he was 18 and we drifted apart.

I got into clubbing, working and spending time with my friends.

I got bored of letter writing and seeing him every so often.

My life would be totally different now if I had stayed with him.

I probably would have some sqiggles :-D

No, I haven't ever enjoyed drugs.

I don't even like taking paracetomols.

I am a bit sad that things didn't work out.

I was too busy enjoying myself now I am childless and skint

I suppose.

My life was totally different when I was 16.

My mum had just moved away, I had an ace job and me and my dad loved a good row.

I felt too young to be married and settled.

Now I feel past it

Still waiting for the 1st love..
#27
I met and married my first love....but stupidly gave him an ultimatum years ago....backfired on me and I lost him. Still hurts to this day....and I realised that I do compare new boyfriends with him. He wasn't perfect but nor was I. The fact that we can't even be friends now hurts just as much
#28
I also married my first love. We met 34 years ago this week and are as happy now if not more, as we were all those years ago.
#29
I'm still in contact with mine we started talking through fb again and now send the odd txt just to see how each other is doing.
#30
Yes you can especially when it cost 200K to get shut of the bunny boiling wench.

In hindsight would have been much cheaper to pay a hitman to bump her off in a cruel, and imaginative way.
#31
i remember her, wasnt that long ago lol, bitch broke my heart
#32
You never forget, mine is on my facebook, although we have never actually spoken on there, think we both wanted to be nosey and see what the other is doing

no, of course you dont

in fact, do you ever forget anyone you loved. No! Although, rose tinted spectacles come out to play big time when looking back.
