my dad says can i find any info on Shazam a program from the 1960's shown at cinema's after batman finished, which went on for about 12 episodes.

This is not the captain marvel, lightning bolt that has been mentioned all over the internet.

What's been posted above will probably be the correct Shazam. It was shown as a double-bill with 'The Secrets of Isis' which was set in Egypt - the guy with long hair was actually a woman :-D

Shazam! was a half-hour live-action television program produced by Filmation (the animation studio's first such program), based upon DC Comics' superhero Captain Marvel. The show ran from 1974 to 1977 on CBS from 1975 to 1977. It was known as The Shazam!/Isis Hour, and included The Secrets of Isis, about an Ancient Egyptian superheroine resurrected in the body of a schoolteacher, as the second half of the hour.
