I am getting my oh the new COD and Assassins Creed games for his Ps3 as part of his Christmas presents, but do you think I am mean if I test that they work and then wrap them up without letting him have a little play on them or not let him have them early? He has been looking forward to playing them for months since we pre-ordered them.

yes, you mite as well just let him play with it, as an early christmas present, since you are going to give it him anyway, why punish him by making him wait? it makes no sense
