#11

Except it isn't it has a massive adult audience.

But it is for kids though. Whether or not adults choose to waste their time reading/watching it is beside the point.

Its a children's book written for children

barry trotter ftw

Everyone I have spoken to says it is crap, they messed up a key thing in it also...

I love the films and love the trailer, am worried it is as crap as everyone says.

:(

Apparently too soppy with too much relationship rubbish??

And easy to fall asleep during..
#15
thats just wot i like a nice dark room and a film to send me off to sleep, damn i gotta see it
#16
Saw it earlier. The beginning and middle were fantastic and well apdated, but the ending was not so good and very rushed. Jim Broadbent was fantastic as Slughorn, in which is probably the best performance in the series so far, but Radcliffe was very stiff, while Gambon, who I was hoping to be excellent due to the focus on his character in this film, looked rather bored. Some good comedy in this film aswell, especially from Ron's love intrest, Luna Lovegood and especially when Harry takes speed

I went to see it this afternoon having not read any of the books but I have seen the previous five films. I've found as the films have been released, they've got darker and and better. This was good for the comedy. I nearly jumped out of my skin at one part!! lol I totally agree the ending was rubbish but I did enjoy it and may even read the books before they release the final 2 parter. The films are what made me buy the books.

Can someone tell me though....emma watson talks about kissing rupert grint in the film and how she got it over with quickly but where was the scene??? Did I blink and miss it?
#18
i thought it was disapointing as well. felt like it ended in the middle and didnt finish properly.
[mod]#19
...the film wasnt as good as the others but I guess that this was possibly the hardest film to make as even though the book was good, it wasnt too dramatic during the middle. The beginning and end was very to the point.
#20
I agree, the kids loved it but the end was so dissapointing, they were just talking about the next step and then it just stopped,
#21
harry potty, ain't it for children . .
#22
if you tell me they missed out snape killing dumbledore i will go mental
#23
:o he wasnt immobolised under the cloak? wtf! about the chasing did they have the whole running through the battle and past hagrid hut and when his hut caught on fire?

They didn't, but Harry stood there and watched from below, and did nothing then ran after them shouting and there was no fight or anything they just walked off, that makes harry look like an idiot as he should have tried to stop it instead of just standing there when he was going to chase them anyways. Where as in the book he had the cloak on and dumbledore had stunned him.

I prefer the books to all the films, they always leave loads out but this one really takes the biscuit!! :x
No justice done whatsoever!!!

Lol, and as for people saying the books are for kids, dont think my 5 year old would be very impressed lol.
They may have started that way but the last 2 (maybe 3) were definately a lot more darker and 'adult' xx

 this is my favourite book as well so i was actually looking forward to seeing it, not now though :x

yeh, the last 2 were my faves

God knows how she managed to link all the books together like she did and actually make sense, like insignificant things in one is something central to the story 4 books later!

Thats some brain, amazing! :w00t:
#31
ye shes a legend, btw did they show the ravenclaw horcrux in this movie?
#32
dcx_badass
Nope, he was just stood on the floor below looking for a whole in the floor and before snape went up he just said shhhh. So harry stood there and watched which is totally out of character no way would he just do that ,especially when he ran after them shouting anyways, the only bit of the whole battle was harry gets knocked over and the death eaters walk off, there wasn't any other fighting!

yea i remember him ripping after them as soon as he could and he went mental

Wishful thinking, no they didn't, only ones were the diary, the ring, and the fake necklace. I'd forgot about this (read it on another forum) but one of Ron's brothers gets badly injured in the fighting and his face is messed up, well seeing as there was no fight how will they explain that in the next film.

ah they left out bill being mauled by fenrir? so they must of left out fleur as well, when she says she will still marry him even though half his faced got scratched off and he might be a werewolf, sux.

TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE OP!!!!!
Just home an hour ago & I thought it was the BEST one of the series. Yeah, it wasn't as good or as informative as the book, but then they never are.
I thought it showed the characters more than ever before & had a lot more funny bits.

You can't please everyone I suppose!

Um I think you'll find you're wrong.
It was a book, made for adults which then attracted a child audience so they released the book with a childrens cover.
