It's because as your Mum has pulled into the drive, she's turned the wheels to the left so she can get round those trees... she's obviously not parked with them turned fully back to centre... hence when it's rolled, it's rolled the same way as the wheels were left. Not to mention it has a lot to do with banking. Not hard to see!

For a start it looks like the trees over hang the drive and there would be nothing to avoid in that case. Plus if she has turned the wheel to get up and around that corner and left the wheel at a slight turn it would have rolled back down and around the corner, not off to the right!

No, my point is that she would have turned the wheel right so she could line up straight to the house (otherwise she'd be parking at a nice jaunty angle!), but she's obviously not turned the wheels back again, hence leaving the wheels pointing out! Either way, it's not something to argue about, it's someone parking a car for heaven's sake!

washing up naked is not a good look, you may want to reconsider the pinny oO

baffledsalmon I understand what you are saying, but for it to go between two cars and not hit either is luck you have to agree, as the turn to go on the drive doesn't involve that angle.

Nah, cos from the living room you look down the drive (I'll post a pic in a min), so she saw it there. So lucky as we only got the car back last thursday as in mid July, someone smashed into it an night wrecking the back (burst the tyre, destroyed the wheel and things), and then the force knocked it into a wall messing up the front, but they drove off and she didn't know till the next morning.

Thats terrible. So she was due some good luck then (_;)

I'm going to leave a reply that dcx would most likely leave himself if it was someone else's thread.

If they can't park a car properly then should they really be driving?

Sits back and waits .....

Tbh I was thinking the same. If this was someone else's thread he would have ripped into them by now.

But yes very lucky

Dullest post ever.

From the member that bought you such thrilling misc threads as... oh wait, none.

Anyway, I don't think anybody can deny that this is one of those 'wtf' things and that all parties involved got away very luckily to have not suffered any bumps or dents to their cars... Let's be honest, the chances of this happening the way it did are remote at best! (That comment is not meant to sound like I'm calling BS btw.)

buy cheap cars pay the price.

sounds like your mum should be locked up for getting her driving licence from a cornflakes packet.
