This was discussed on the Radio this morning and according to the company only the Land Owner or Land Owner's representative can legitimately use the app.

£10 commission? What, why not educate people first rather then fine, didn't york council fall for this with fining people travelling over a bridge, it was all over turned and they had to pay it all back?

mmmmm couldnt you double park then when guy next to you is forced to double park, move your vehicle take a pic and claim £10. I really despise these companies i pray the day some judge decides these fines are unfair and not legal. We can then all claim and finish these vultures off.

Are the fines these companies issue enforceable?

If not I'm off to park badly all over their car parks and submit pics of my own car for a tenner a go :D

This is a private sector venture. Your anger is being misdirected.

Be gone, lefty.

Excellent.

The offender disputes the evidence & you have to go to tribunal & sit there like a grass.

Firstly, will they pay your expenses?

Secondly, will they pay you damages when you get a broken nose?

It would still be a person that takes the picture & grasses & would have to go to the tribunal.

Who ever reports someone like this I hope karma gets you

Would this be on a zero hours contract :p

If they paid a bounty for the bad parkers at the local primary school i would be quids in.
The parents brains seem to fall out of their ears when it comes to dropping off and collecting their kids.

I love this idea i think I'm right in saying you can send photos to any council to report illegally parked vehicles, more people should, all these idiots who cant or won't park properly, use mobile phones at the wheel, refuse to use indicators etc need to be fined, telling them not to do it doesn't work.

You'd make in 1 hour what a zero hours worker makes in a day, in London at least. If this thing catches on they will change it and have a daily cap or something.

Don't get me started. My short residential road has a primary school at the top. It's not just the double parking boxing residents car in but the chavtastic Mums happily allowing their kids to jump all over the front garden and/or dump their crisp packets and Coke cans all over it.
The other day I went to go into my house with my shopping and one such lovely lady had decided to get out of the wind to light her fag.
She plonked herself on my front steps to do it and gave me a mouthful when I gently asked if I could get by to get in my house.
When we've got no choice but to sit in our cars waiting for the road to clear so we can park and get in our own homes we get screamed and sworn at.
Obviously they park on all the double yellows on the corners because it's apparently their God given right. Truth is the lot of them need a financial incentive not to be self entitled morons and although I loathe traffic wardens I'd be out there cheering them on in this case.
