I recently bought a flat that had a diswasher (BDW13 Baumatic) installed. I have put a load through a few times, the tablet goes in the thingee and when you open the door after the load has finished the tablet is still (with the little door on the thingee open) however the tablet has half melted to the side. the dishes look clean and washed but they can't be because the tablet is still there!!

Any ideas?

Thanks

just chuck the tablet in the bottom and don't do a pre rinse, and it will work fine.

Are you putting anything lard in front of that draw when you load it. Cos this happened to us and it was a chopping board stopping the droppin of tablet.

If not try droppin the tabs in dish washer itslef as previosly stated.
If none of it works then its bust

Could be dodgy tablets not melting away, ocassionally get a few of those... buy some powder instead of tablets see if that makes any difference.

I also get a prob with mine sometimes where if the wife (who seems to be incapable of loading the dishwasher logically) she will put something in at an odd angle and it will just catch the rotary water sprayer thingy (thats the tech term by the way) preventing a decent wash and the water not getting distributed properley...

honestly if shes loaded the dishwasher its probably better to unload it and do the washing up by hand! :-D
