Bit of a retarded way to run things.
Probably why they changed their name to "Yodel" to try and get away from the reputation they have!
John
They once told me they tried to deliver to a red door at 1.30pm and no one was in, which would be fine except it was a shopping centre open from 9am to 8pm, 24 hour security to take deliveries outside those times, and the colour scheme didn't have any red in it, so couldn't have possibly been a red door anyway.
same same
my local driver was outstanding, would even give me a bell on my mobile as i was often in the greasy spoon or post office
how about taking the time out to talk to your driver and getting them on your side rather than whiinging and complaining at everyone that stands in your path.....certainly isnt gonna get you any favours

How about they do their job properly then no one would need to complain?

sorry but im not aware of the circumstances of your local driver but if you can take the time to speak to him you may find out that his colleagues are off sick or they are short staffed and having to do more than their own route
but then again you could just complain abouot it without knowing the whole story and get everyones back up and have your parcels delivered or sent back as they please
choice is yours colin :) but not everything is black and white....you should know this
As mentioned above they are atrocious here in Edinburgh, and the worst of it is that companies like Scan continue to use them depite the complaints they surely rack up. I think everyone should direct their complaints to the companies who use this courier, because citylink certainly don't give a sh8 about anyone who complains to them.

Its not that they screwed up, its the fact the girl on the phone insisted they delivered to the correct address and kept telling me there was no one in, and told me I was wrong. When it got delivered the following day I asked the driver where the red door was and how come he couldn't get in yesterday and he said he was off, and that the driver covering probably couldn't be arsed to deliver, so just put on the form it was a red door to cover his back.
I know mistakes happen, I couldn't care less about that, but when they lie and tell me I'm lying, thats when I get my back up.
I've had quite a few problems with cl here, and as such won't order from any company that uses them now.
