i had the N95 8GB version, i returned it to play after a few weeks for a full refund. despite being the newest, and best version of the N95 it was still pretty poor, in my opinion. the build quality left a LOT to be desired and the software was absolute cack. my phone just crashed when it was idle a few times. wasnt too impressed considering what i had paid for it.

many people love it, and can overlook the faults. but considering the price i had paid for it, i was too happy with it and returned it.

I'm staggered that you experienced this.

Have had std N95 for almost a year, and now onto my N95 8GB. Can't fault either of them in any respect. Always preferred Nokia to anything else.

The N95 Rules by far, I have had one for over a year and the only negative is that you have to charge it up ever night (not a big problem in any case), There is loads of good software for it including TomTom sat nav which i could'nt live without. The camera is probably the best around on a phone (5meg)

Okay listen to this...
What fitzybhoy said was a load of rubbish. I have an N95 8gb and i have the normal one aswell. And i know many people who have the normal N95. And not once have i regretted buying it. I love it. The quality of videos is amazing, especially on the 8Gb version (screen is bigger too). Do not get samsung. Nothing compared to the quality of N95. Also, N95 is more for your money and it's cheaper....
Hope that influenced you lol

I love my N95. WiFi saves so much money, I watch YouTube on it (You can download the App from youtube) and I use fring for MSN and Skype. But the N95 8GB has Skype built in.

As for touch screen mobiles, I had a Samsung touch screen and it was awful, it ended up breaking after a few months now its in the bin

the slider on mines was loose and wobbled from side to side and felt like it would just fall to bits at any time. i had a look on a few N95 forums and a few, not many, but a few seemed to comment on the build quality, the slider in particular.

had mine for less than a week and loving it. no problems with it and loving some of the little apps you can install. one of the things i believe you can't do on the samsung?
