Does anyone here use ID Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundations or other ID Bare Escentuals products?

I am just wondering if their products are any good, a work friend of mine got some when she went over to Florida over Christmas and has been going on about it ever since - she thinks it is absolutely brilliant.

I have read some reviews, most seem to agree with her that it is fantastic, others seem to hate it.

I am quite interested in trying it out as it is totally pure and good for your skin, not like the ones from Maybelline and Loreal which apparently have fillers and other chemicals in them despite making it seem like they are pure.

Has anyone tried it / used it, if so, what do you think of it? Is it worth the money?

Thanks

If you're interesting in trying them out, order from QVC - you get to try them for 30 days and if you don't like them you can return it even though you've used it!

I use them all the time! They are great if you like a light coverage or they can be built up to cover more. The best way to buy from QVC is to get a kit, especially if they have one as their Today's Special Value (TSV) unfortunately I think they had one a couple of weeks ago so it could be a while. They do stock kits all the time so still worth looking or buy a small size one from Ebay, unfortunately they no longer allow people to sell samples, to try it out. :)

Hi - just thought I'd let you know that I think Bare Escentials is incredible. My daughter suffers from extremely sensitive skin and eczema on her face. She has been using Bare Escentials for a couple of months and is the only thing she's found that doesn't iritate her. She's loving all their products. I recently bought the offer on Beauty Bay that was on HUK and have used the blusher and eyeshadow on a couple of occasions. I usually don't use much make up because even the most expensive/sensitive I've previously bought has left me with a couple of days of sore eyes. So using eyeshadow two days running for me is a miracle.

I would suggest that you try and find a shop where they'll test the product on you, or alternatively Glow Girl website is selling the foundation samples at 99p with free P&P. It really is worth trying for a quid!

I haven't used this brand but I have the Avon alternatives. Bought on a bogof and picked up a nice big buffing brush from Home Bargains. I think full price they are £8 each for big pots and they do the mineral blush too. I like it, depending on your age, I am 40 so I have to lightly moisturise a good half hour beforehand and it goes on with next to no effort and stays on all day. I recommend the Avon mineral make up.

I use tis make up and its by far the best i've ever used. I've suffered with bad spots in the past and where other heavy foundation has made them worse this is much better.
I get mine of ebay as it's much better value for money than the 2g pots you get in shops.
I highly recommend trying this as i think its really worth the money and wouldn't use an alternative now.
The coverage is good and it doesn't feel like you are wearing make up.
Hope this helps

I forgot about this post!

I now use Bare Escentuals, I have the get started kit and recently got a 9g pot from Lookfantastic.com. My mum is also using B.E now!
