A bit specialist OP and you would need to supply all sorts of personal details I would have thought.
Definitely look at buying through Quidco though for cashback !! lol.

Cheers hottoshop, rep added!
I think I will let her get on with it herself, it's bad enough when you have to do this sort of stuff for yourself without getting roped into doing it for other people too lol!

lol too true !
Bit of a minefield actually buying life insurance for someone else. You wouldn't want to think of the problems it could potentially cause, lol.

No reason why you shouldn't be able to help her though ;-):)

Take care

i have not long got that amount for OH age 57 costs me £35 month - non smoker -
i did comparison sites and have ended up with standard life - best one at the time but rates do change
it took me a while to look around and i rang companies up
also take into consideration it has to be mentioned in will and whether your mum would want it in trust - as family have to be considered - lotsa hassle there then!!
good luck

Its so specific to age, health and medical conditions etc........

I went with Sainsbury's life insurance (Underwritten by L&G). I'm 28 non smoker covered for £200,000 + critical illness and I only pay £8.59 a month. Plus I think I got 1000 nectar card points too.

Quidco merchants offers good cashback for insurance. I'd say do your research and if you kinda decided on one company, click via Quidco if the merchant is n the list and walaaa ... could be £100 better off.

That definately would have sealed the deal for me...

u should be able to find insurance for alot cheaper than 100k i would have thought ;)

The nectar points had nothing to do with it really!!! Quidco didn't offer me what I wanted for a low premium. Fair enough I could pay £5 a month extra and get £100 cash back but I plan on paying my premiums for at least the next 60 years at least - so I would rather have the cheaper premium and 1000 nectar card points than pay £3600 on extra premiums and £100 cash back.

I love Quidco - but it does pay to shop around;-)
