Did you follow the for sale guidlines? Do you have his name, address and phone number for example?
#8
I bought from him for £169 and he seemed a very nice guy. Goods arrived as described and very prompt
#9
infact Here

is a link of all the things he had for sale. It seems strange he picked the least expensive thing to 'scam' someone on...
#10
he hasnt been online since 26.1 so would at least give him chance to get back online to find out first.
#11

Maybe so, but this post is going to be seen as an accusation. I take it you got his phone number etc? Give him a ring. I bought some games from him and he was mega quick at sending them out and I know he sold TV's etc to other people (I checked him out thoroughly before buying the games ). Probably just some simple misunderstanding:thumbsup:

Well I doubt very much he's skipped the country with your £15:lol:

Have you emailed him on his Paypal email address?

you could always give them a quick ring, but they might be on holiday or anything might have popped us as they not been online. Looking at the other coments they have sold a few items latley and some to a high value so dont ring out bells of a scammer for the least valued item IMO.. i would hold out till they are back online..

You haven't answered any of the above or said whether you have contacted the seller by phone or email ?

Have you ?

if he hasnt been online here since 26/1 maybe he hasnt picked up his emails also ?

lost internet connection, holiday, accident, could be numerous reasons. if you didnt get his phone number (as per guidelines) then you can only sit and wait.

Seeing as yours was the least valued amount of a few sales dont you think it looks unlikely its a scam ? Surely you can see that ? ?

There was more than one question.

Did you follow the guidelines, which include:

Get a landline number and call it to check.
Make a small payment to and from Paypal.
etc, etc.

What did they say when you phoned them to ask about the delay?

If I had any idea How they bought stuff via ebay with my paypal account,Do you think I would post the details how they did it on here.
2 Items
£108.00 for a screen and spy camera
£49.68 for a pair of baggy jeans
Both item posted to Germany.
I never received a email from paypal to confirm Item payed for, like you do when you every agree to send money.
Paypal have not been much help,I told them 2 days before the cash had left my bank account to CANCEL these transaction, but they never did.
Plus I spoke to ABBEY on the phone teeling them the same to cancel the 2 payments as I never bought or agreed to these.I spoted these just by try to lift money from my account, and it said no funds available. So i rang ABBEY,asked them to explain why ,they said 2 payments via paypal have removed all my funds. When she gave me the details I told her to stop them i never bought such items,Then i checked paypal and fund the 2 transactions.
I have now been told by ABBEY it could take upto 4 weeks to get it sorted,so I hope you can understand I am PI**ED OFF by the whole thing.
and before you ask,I never clicked any links gave my details to anyone over the net ,never emailed anyone my details.
So if you can tell me how they did it.??
#28

I assume you have changed your passwords for all your related accounts online ?
Not criticising you but ask yourself honestly was your Paypal password easily worked out or hackable ?
If you never received Paypal confirmation emails the your account was almost certainly hijacked.
Were you able to access it at all times ??

Somethings not quite right by the sounds of it, and again I'm not questioning you.

I have changed my paypal password twice since, and no the password was not easy to hack it was personal details no-one could know.
What gets me is I spotted it and reported it days before the cash was withdrawn, told both Paypal and Abbey to cancel the payments but they never did.
4years ago I had my Abbey account cleard £1300 ,when i check with abbey they said I made a bill payment of that amount.I told them do they never ask questions before giving out such large amounts.I was traveling to the USA 4 days later .Told the local brance manager the Problem he had the cash back into my account the next day.
I never tolaly found out why this happened,I was able to see the persons name who was supposed to have received. To be Honest I think it was a mistake with abbey.

Right firstly with regards to the HUKD problem, and you're not going to like reading this, you only have yourself to blame as you didn't follow the rules and get a landline number etc.
In saying that though I think you ought to hold fire before you start accusing. There could be many reasons why your item has not arrived and bearing in mind what others have written it seems unlikely this member is trying to scam you.
I'm sure they will contact you in the near future with an explanation.

With regards your other problem something still does not seem right from what I've read.
If you want to write down the exact circumstances I will try and help. Your call.
You do however need to be precise about how your Paypal account was used to buy goods off of Ebay. In other words was your Ebay account used as well etc etc.
