clear some memory from a Nokia N97?

Basically, I have dl'd a programme called "Phone Info" which tells me allsorts about my drives. The one that seems fuller than it should is the C:Flash (Nand) Phone memory. 73.0mb (13.6mb free) I have cleared all info from browser history and stuff, all messages etc.. are stored on E: Mass Memory 29.8gb (24.5gb free)

Reason for asking is that I wanted to dl latest Nokia Maps and it was telling me before that I only had about 4mb free on the C drive and I would need to clear some contents to allow the dl, so I cleared cache and stuff to get me from 4mb free upto about 20mb free. Then after dl'ing maps update I am back to 13.6mb free.

Any help appreciated. COM you don't need to PYSL at this request !!!!!

you DONT download them to the C drive, it simply isnt big enough, it's part of the operating system for the phone and it contains the Z drive which You wont see because it's a hidden system drive.
that's Why you have the E drive,
24.5GB is plenty to store not only the maps but hundreds of other applications.

This is what I was thinking, but when dl'ing I don't get a choice of drives. How can I adjust the settings?

Found this which answers my own question, and may help others.
