And pay what seems like £15 per square yard of hotel room per night?! No thanks! lol

I can't believe how anyone could charge so much for a place to stay!

I just want a hotel room for 2 nights in mid October near the NEC/NIA where the hotel gives you all the Sky Sports channels in your room! I don't think I ask for much! lol

Stayed at a hotel is Gloucester last night, and night before. Would of cost us £20(24hour access) for premium channels (Sky).

Most of the lodges have a pub next door. You could always find out if they have sky sports ;)

Ouch! Luckily I'd only need it for 24 hours! Otherwise I'd might as well pay Sky to install it in my hotel room and pay for everything for 12 months! :-D

I don't want to be sat in a pub all day! I would have to drive at certain times, therefore I couldn't go up to the bar and say "Pint of" in a normal voice and then "coke please" in a much quieter voice!

I'd feel I'd be letting Al Murray down! :-( :-D

Where you planning to stay? Sure there will be local B&B's with Sky. Plus if its in a main room, and its a small B&B. You can hog all you want

In Birmingham. I couldn't do that! I'd probably fall asleep with the tv blaring and it would be showing all those chatline numbers, so if anyone came in and saw that, I don't think it would look good on me! :)
