I breastfed ny 1st for 4 months. However this time around I am not sure I will be able to (due to health problem of my own).

I am just looking for some bottles / sterilizer to have, its all changed from 3 years ago!

Glass bottles, thats kinda scary!

breastfed each of mine for 13 months.. such a shame if you cant do it, its one of my fav times with baby xx

Glass is safer than the poly-whatsername ones due to the chemicals xx

I will give it a go and see how I get on. One of my problems is I don't tend to put on weight in pregnancy so they found with my 1st baby he stopped gaining weight due to me not being able to provide him and myself with calories.

Also I suffer from M.E. so at the best of times I feel totally exhausted.

We'll have to see.....

How does the microwave steriliser work then? I mean the BPA etc, surely they have to start making that BPA free or is it already?

Oh I understand about the ME... one of my friends has it... she finds pregnancy really hard too.

Best to bottle feed then and have more energy for babba xxx

Have always bought an avent steriliser, not used the microwave ones xx

Thats what I thought, I will try not to be too hard on myself this time around. I want to feel a bit better this time and have the energy for new baby and my 3 year old!

I am only 19 weeks so I'll have a look about, thanks for all your help :)

Give the ABM a ring, mu mum is a breatfeeding counsellor and is part of the ABM used to be the president, the doctors a lot of the time give rubbish info so give them a ring and chat to them about breastfeeding with your health problems :)

to be honest I wouldn't reuse the bottles but then I've always bought fresh for each baby...

why not treat babba to a new set :) xx
